He led the establishment of the accreditation services for Certification Bodies in the Kingdom since joining the center as Director General of Accreditation of Certification Bodies in January 2022 as well as working as the Secretary of the Islamic Forum for Halal Accreditation Bodies (IFHAB) since January 2024.

In addition, he is a member of several technical committees under the International Accreditation Forum (IAF). He began his career as a biomedical engineer and progressed in the fields of quality and organizational excellence.

He received a Master's degree in Strategic Quality Management from the University of Portsmouth, UK in 2011.

He also received a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Technology from King Saud University in 2006.
