The Chief Executive Officer is responsible for ensuring the implementation of activities at all levels within the framework of the principles of good governance of the Saudi Accreditation Center, and for compliance with national regulations and international standards, including the requirements of good governance, transparency, integrity, and independence, in accordance with the requirements of the relevant international standards. This includes ensuring the availability of the necessary resources in line with ISO/IEC 17011:2017, in addition to the documents of international organizations such as ILAC and IAF, and regional organizations such as APAC and ARAC. The Chief Executive Officer is also responsible for ensuring that all necessary means are available to deliver high-quality services. Furthermore, the Chief Executive Officer is responsible for applying and implementing policies and procedures in a non-discriminatory manner to ensure impartiality, integrity, and the preservation of confidentiality and transparency at all levels. By securing the necessary resources to develop new accreditation activities as required and needed, and by committing to provide the necessary resources to cover new accreditation applications, the Chief Executive Officer is also committed to monitoring and achieving the Center’s objectives in order to establish the required confidence in the quality of its services. The Chief Executive Officer also bears responsibility for taking all necessary measures to ensure the competence and independence of all participants involved in the implementation of the accreditation system, including the selection of qualified and experienced assessors, their commitment to activities, and the development of their skills. He is also responsible for establishing a directed training program for all Center staff, including assessors, employees, and committee members. Furthermore, he is responsible for ensuring that Center staff adhere to the implementation of all policies and achieve the overall objectives through their application at all levels of the Center’s activities, particularly the quality policy. This policy is implemented through its dissemination within an executive work plan that is periodically reviewed and developed. The results of the annual management review, internal audit reports, cases of nonconformity, and any other information are also taken into consideration as a basis for verifying the effectiveness of the implementation of the management system. The Center is also responsible for all decisions taken in the field of accreditation.
